This time of year is beyond busy with all of the holiday madness, but it's also a really busy and stressful time for college students. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was getting my semesters-end finals schedule and worrying about tests, papers and getting it all done. And I'm beyond thankful that all of that is behind me, hah! Now that my sister is in college and I see her prepping for the end-of-semester-push, I'm remembering just how stressful it can be. That made me think to put together this gift box/care package to send to my sister - part essentials and part fun items that she'll love and will put a smile on her face during a stressful time of the school year! If you want to put together a box like this for your sister or a friend or family member whose away at school, here's some ideas of what to include:

With a new semester about to start, there's always the hope of having a straight-A semester, staying organized and not getting completely overwhelmed. But welcome to the college life because I'm pretty sure that'll never happen as easily as we all wish it would! College is stressful as hell, and throughout my four years of undergrad, I figured out some things that really helped me to stay organized and make things easier. I only wish they came to me you know, when I was a struggling freshman! ;) Here's 8 ways you can help make your semester go smoothly and help you conquer each and every day:
It's incredibly weird to me to not have started a new school year for the first time in the past twelve years this year... I can't believe I'm a college grad; I really don't know where the time has gone, but man it's a great feeling to have a diploma after a LOT of hard work! Post-grad life is a lot different than I had expected it to be thus far but I truly cannot complain in the least. And let me tell ya - there's way more of them than there is knowledge about any of the Gen Ed requirement classes I took. If I could go back, there are definitely things I would change and tweak around - starting from the very beginning of the experience. Literally. I've also realized how many things there are that I wish I knew before I began my college years, and just how much I actually did learn. So here I am today, a college graduate - sharing all of the things I wish someone had told me upon entering some of the craziest years of my life (so far, God bless):
It's mid December and the Fall semester is coming to a close finally!! The only thing standing in our way are tests. Every semester, I always wait until the very last minute to start studying for finals. No matter how much I tell myself I should or will try and study harder, it never happens. I've always been this way and it's such a bad habit to get into, but over the years I've learned to deal with my procrastination and still be able to pass my tests.
Tips for last minute studying:
