Christmas in July is here! If you're a fan of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, you're no doubt loving today! It's such a great sale and this year is one of the better ones product wise in my opinion. I've been searching high and low for the very best finds for the past week and as I always do when this sale starts, am sharing the top picks and also the things that I think are going to sell out quickly. That's not to say they won't come back into stock, but if you've shopped the sale before, you know that there are items that sell out within minutes of the sale going live!
The best part about Nordstrom is their free shipping/free return policies - even if you plan to shop in-store, if there's anything you know you want to get your hands on, I highly recommend ordering it as soon as the sale goes live so that you don't risk not finding it in-store or it selling out online! I end up making at least a few orders with things I hadn't seen in-store, or items in a couple of sizes, and just return what I don't want. There's nothing better than trying things on in the comfort of your own home in front of your own mirror!
You know it's really, officially summer in-full-swing when we're shopping for the 4th of July! I love shopping for summer clothes and even more for red, white and blue EVERYTHING. There's literally nothing better than celebrating America on a hot, sunny day, by the pool or at the beach or a BBQ. Every girl has that one thing they love to treat themselves with - a mani/pedi, new handbag, new shoes, a bottle of wine, bowl of ice cream... to name a few. ;) For me, it's a little bit of everything listed above (lol!) but I am such a sucker for a new pair of shoes. The very last thing I need to buy 99% of the time are new shoes but I can't ever resist! They're my weakness and it's become a little too fun growing my shoe collection! Doesn't it seem like as the summer winds down, the fall and winter months leading into the holidays are always the busiest and hardest to re-adjust to? It's freakin' hard to go from a relaxing summer filled with time in the sun, traveling and beach trips to a full schedule and heavier work (or school) load! Going on a last minute trip to savor summer in any way possible? I know that feeling all too well! If I had my way, summer would never leave. It's my favorite time of year and I know I'm not the only one trying to hold on to every minute of it! I took a week off to go on a (somewhat) last minute beach getaway and tried to challenge myself to packing everything for 7 days, 6 nights into a carry-on suitcase only. It didn't go so well... But now that I've tried and know what works and what doesn't, I know it is possible with lots of maneuvering and forcing myself to be a little less indecisive. ;)

It's that time again - today is the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (Early Access)! As if you hadn't heard... ;) I know this sale is talked about a ton, but it really is for good reason - there's incredible deals on so, so many things. Need vacation buys? No problem. Looking for some beauty steals? You got it. Want to stock up on designer buys for future months? There's TONS. I'm starting to sound a little like Ariel (haha get it? It's early, cut me some slack) but the point is it's worth shopping or at least checking it out to see if there's something you want to get! Hint: there will be.
