How to Style an Outdoor Bar Cart

Thank you to Faustino Wines for sponsoring today's post. As always all opinions are solely my own!

With all of the outdoor entertaining and summer parties we have going on this season, up your decor and patio set up with an outdoor bar cart! I know how popular indoor bar carts are and how fun they are to style, so I thought it'd be just as fun to set one up on my patio.

The best thing about bar carts is that there's no wrong way to set it up - add in whatever you like and personalize it to your favorite drinks, barware, etc. My favorite wine lately and to have on hand for entertaining all summer are all of the Faustino Wines. There's so many different reds and whites to pick from and one of the BEST rosé wines I've ever had! It's the perfect addition to your summer bar cart and entertaining picks this summer.

Here's some tips to keep in mind when stocking and styling your outdoor bar cart:

Stock the essentials - make sure you have all of the ingredients to make your favorite cocktail, your friends and family's favorite wines and plenty of glasses, ice and soft drinks too! Faustino makes a variety of reds and whites, so be sure to have red/white wine glasses on hand (in case you have any friends as crazy as Dorit when it comes to glasses... HAHA) too.

Keep it simple - there's tons of ways to fill up your bar cart and make it look stocked to the brim but less is definitely more; you don't want to risk things tipping over, and if your bar cart has wheels it's SO convenient to be able to move it around the patio when your guests are over! Hence the importance of having less... ;)

Add in pops of color - just to make it look pretty! Why not, right?

Be sure to have the cocktail tools you'll need - a corkscrew, bottle opener, cute paper straws, a jigger, strainer, etc. on hand on your cart all will prevent you from having to go back and forth inside when entertaining!

I always keep a large ice bucket on the bottom shelf of my outdoor bar cart to chill white wines (and rosé, duh) and soft drinks. Have you tried Faustino wine yet? If not, you have got to try it out this summer! I had a couple of bottles on my bar cart for a BBQ with friends last weekend and everyone loved it. The Faustino V White went the quickest! One of my girlfriends added some fruit to her glass and thought it was the most brilliant thing, hah! That's the best part about Faustino's wines - they're so versatile and so delicious. The bottles even have suggested food pairings on the back making entertaining a piece of cake!

Normally I'm more of a white wine girl - I LOVE the Faustino Reds. They are so smooth and I made a cheese platter to go with it and it was absolutely delicious. I may be a bit bias, but the Faustino rosé is my all time favorite. I'm picky with rose wines, but this one is by far one of the best I've ever tried!

Have you guys tried Faustino Wine yet? If not, get a couple of bottles for your next party - you and your guests will absolutely love it! Let me know what you'd add to your outdoor bar cart too - I'm always looking to make some updates to it; it's one of those "never finished" things, ya know? ;)

XOXO -A

  2. This is so simple and elegant looking! It's also hugely user friendly, which is a must at outdoor parties. The last thing you want to do is have to tend the bar cart all night because you don't want your guests inconvenienced.

  19. I'm coming over for your wine party :) Love how you styled your cart! I'd love to get one for outside but it rains SO much in the summer and only a super small area of my backyard is covered. Might need to just move the cart in and out as needed!

  29. I'm really hoping to get an outside bar cart next summer. I'd love to have one inside but with a little running around, it might not be a good idea. I do have my china cabinet and a small cabinet where I keep a lot of these items. I need to stock up on a few more things though
