Spring 2018 Preview: Bright Buys to Get You Excited for Spring

Is anyone else SO over winter?! If you live in a warm climate, I'm at the point of the season where I'm VERY jealous. I love the colder temperatures and snowy days around the holiday season, but it's February and we're on the cusp of the warm, sunny spring and summer months and I can't wait any longer! With every hope of tiding me over until the sun warms me up again, I rounded up some of my favorite buys for spring so far -- I know it's early and there's still lots of things to come, but these bright buys are making me so happy, here's to hoping they do the same for you! :) And starting your spring shopping early is always a good thing - it's good for your soul. Take my word for it, I promise! Check these fun and colorful pieces out here:

Lightweight Clothing Additions

Distressed Jeans (#1): I rant and rave a LOT about these jeans in every wash they come in - they're so comfortable and literally don't feel like jeans on your body. Who doesn't want that?! Distressed, light wash jeans are everything for the spring!

Lace Eyelet Top (#4): this is one of the prettiest tops for Spring 2018 I've yet to see! It also comes in white and the lace sleeves are so perfect for a warm spring day.

White Cotton Sweater (#14): wearing sweaters in the spring seems counterproductive but in those early weeks of spring when it's still breezy and kind of cool we all always reach for them still! This cotton sweater is light enough for the spring but also can be layered to wear as a transitional piece. It also comes in coral, navy and a really pretty light yellow!

Floral Pullover (#15): these pullovers are my favorite weekend-wear pieces! I saw how cute it looked on the model with white jeans and I think it'd be an adorable, casual look this spring paired with white jeans and even a light cargo jacket.

Warm Weather Shoes

Rose Gold Birkenstocks (#5): ever since these debut last year, they've sell out on every website sooo quickly! I looked high and low for them in my size last summer and I'm so glad I did because they're my most worn shoes by far. Obviously it's still too cold for these right now, but as soon as I can show my toes these will be my go-tos again! They're incredibly comfortable (obvi, they're Birkenstock!) and rose gold - need I say more?! They're pricier but worth every penny, and you will definitely get your moneys worth from these beauties!

Floral Slip-on Sneakers (#12): I'm not sure which I love more - the ruffles or floral detailing on these! Slip-on sneakers and espadrilles are the absolute best shoes for just about everything, almost year round depending on where you live. ;) They can be dressed up or down and they always last for such a long time!

If you find a pair you love and can't part with but they aren't the most comfortable, try this insert kit. It comes with 14 pieces and it's only $11, and will likely solve any shoe problem you have. It has an insert for almost any problem your shoes may be giving you!

Periwinkle Espadrille Wedges (#13): these were super popular last year too, and there's even more colors available this year! Don't wait because they'll be one of those buys that sells out a ton!

Bold Accessories

Floppy Sun Hat (#2): for $29, I just found my new favorite sun hat! ;) How cute is this?! It's such a fun accessory!

Colorful Drop Earrings (#3): the bright and bold colors drew me to these, and as always I wasn't sure about their weight/if they'd work for me. That being said I am SO HAPPY to report that they're super lightweight! They're one of my favorite pairs of statement earrings, and they don't cost an arm and a leg. #winwin

Pink Aviator Sunnies (#6): I know aviator sunnies aren't for everyone, but if you like them on you then you need to add these beauties to your collection!

Colorblock Shoulder Bag (#7): this bag made my Currently Craving list for January - the colors are so springy and it's so different and gives off all of the spring feels!

Teal Beaded Necklace (#8) ℅: as if we needed another reason to love Target... BaubleBar's Sugar Fix collection just keeps getting better season after season! This necklace is only $15.99 and it makes such a fun statement!

Blue Shell Earrings (#9): these earrings are pricier than I'd usually like to spend on earrings, but they are simply stunning. They also come in a purple/orange mix and an all white shade. In LOVE.

Coral Straw Clutch (#10): at $35, this clutch is the best to take with you on a tropical trip (sending spring break vibes to everyone... they're much needed!) and to get in multiple colors! It's small and compact, great for packing - but fits everything you need inside.

Gel Polish, 'Once Upon a Time' (#11): I'm all about the white/light pink gel polishes with blue undertones lately! This periwinkle shade actually comes out lighter than it looks here - it's a great spring shade.

NARS Lip Tint, 'Summer Fire' (#16): these new NARS lippies are so pigmented and beautiful! 'Summer Fire' is my favorite and it'll be on repeat for me - and while it is so pigmented, it's still a sheer shimmery shade.

Pineapple Baseball Cap (#17): BUY THIS BEFORE IT SELLS OUT! AKA before I buy them all! Hahah - seriously though, isn't this the cutest?! There's a couple of other sayings/styles and I think we all need a cute baseball cap for the warmer months ahead!

What are you eyeing for spring? I know it may be early, but I need all the warm weather vibes I can get! ;)
XOXO -A

  14. Love the coral, mint, and blues -- those are colors I like to wear year-round! Then again, I do live in a warm-weather climate, so I can without it looking too odd :)

  15. I love pastels and mint hues - the perfect colours for Spring. We're currently coming in to Autumn here in Australia, and this post has made me kind of sad that I'm not in a region that's coming in to Spring - I love Spring fashion haha. That floppy hat and those espadrilles are giving me life. x
