We're in the heat of the summer and it's the best time of the year! Making lists is in my nature and I know that applies for a lot of us, so why not make a summer bucket list?! It's a great way to hold yourself accountable to get out and DO things, and it's also a great feeling to cross things off the list. Here's some of the things on my bucket list this year; clearly I make lofty goals for myself! ;) Make this summer the best one yet, check out what you'd add to your list:
Let's be honest with ourselves for a quick second... Is there ANYTHING better than online shopping? No one cares what you look like; you can sit on your couch or in your bed with a glass of wine, a bowl of ice cream (or mini m&ms, my weakness!) with your hair up and your favorite show on TV. Plus the added bonus of "online only" coupon codes, and no ones judging you from a few racks over! Plus, does anyone really appreciate the awful lighting in fitting rooms?
Although online shopping has grown exponentially over the past few years and SO many people prefer it over in-store shopping *raises hand* it can still be difficult to navigate the endless pages of products on an online shop. This girl is no newbie to online shopping, and it still can be sort of stressful but I've found a few things that have made it a breeze - and STILL makes it better than navigating through overflowing clothing racks and crowded stores!
Thank you to Tone for sponsoring today's post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support me!
Vitamin Sea is good for the soul and I'm a firm believer that we ALL need (and deserve!) some fun sun time and relaxing beach days. Beach days are the best days and for me, happiness comes in the form of waves! I know I can't be the only one, but I also know I can't be the only one who spends endless hours at the beach. As amazing as a day by the ocean can be for your physical, mental and even emotional health, it's extremely important to make sure that all of these good vibes don't take a toll on your skin. The power that the sun can have on your skin is no secret (as I sit here with sunburn on my forehead, eeesh!) so making sure that you take care of your skin to maintain its natural glow, healthiness and hydration is extremely important.
Summer is in full swing and it's time to add some bright pieces to your closet situation! June was filled with fun buys to kick the summer off to a great start - beauty buys for glowing summer skin, accessories, bold colors and more - I have my favorites rounded up at all different prices! You need to add these to your cart ASAP:
The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! I love the fireworks, hanging out by the pool, BBQ (of course food makes my list) and of course the patriotic gear we all love to sport! There's always so many fun Americana picks this time of year and they're great for all summer (and year!) long. I found some of my favorite pieces at various price points to shop this weekend; because I know we'll all be out shopping the great sales going on this weekend and finding fun pieces to wear this Independence Day! Here's my favorites:
Life in Rosewood as we know it has officially ended. PLL fans, you know the bittersweet feelings we all have today! The show ended last night and if you're a fan but haven't watched yet, there may be some spoilers in here! ;) Fair warning! I know it was time for it to end, but I've been watching since it started when my summer vacation was just beginning, and I was finishing my sophomore year in high school. I remember the day of the premiere like it was yesterday and the craziness of the past seven seasons has officially ended. I do have to say, I'm VERY happy with how the show ended! I cried, I laughed and my jaw dropped multiple times in typical Pretty Little Liars fashion.
This show has been more than just a television show over the past seven years. It's been something I've bonded with my sister over, and have talked endlessly about with my best friend. It's a mystery that's made me question if maybe I was A! LOL.
--As unreal as being locked in a life-sized doll house, being buried alive, or being cyber-stalked by mysterious figures in black hoodies and gloves may be, it's ALL happened to Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Emily, Alison and even Mona and the PLL guy squad. You name it, they've been through it all! It may sound silly at first, but there really are so many lessons to be learned from this show. Before you think, "this show is totally unrealistic, this would never happen!", bear with me and you'll realize all of the important life lessons Marlene King fit into 160, one hour episodes. As the show and legacy of PLL ends, we're left with lots of answers (even how the moms were stuck in the basement - thank goodness!!) and more importantly, tons of quotes that are just SO relatable to celebrate this series forever and ever.
