10 Festive Looks to Style this New Years Eve

Hoping everyone had THE best Christmas ever!! I sure did, and I'm not quite sure how we're prepping for New Years Eve... Didn't this year just start?! Why do we say that EVERY single year?! Time goes ssooo fast, but that's a topic for another day - right now let's focus on the glitter, glam and sparkles that come with NYE! ;) Whether you're going to celebrate from home, a party, or even Times Square if you're brave enough (I'm definitely not!), here's 10 perfect New Years Eve outfits to consider for this weekend:

*affiliate links Look #1:

Black Tee / Suede Heels / Black Clutch / Naked 3 Palette / Tassel Earrings / Sequin Pencil Skirt

Let me just start by telling you that this adorable, sparkly and super flattering sequin skirt is on SALE for $53! If you're between sizes, I'd size down by one size - other than that, it's stunning! I love the way it looks with a simple black tee and I can't stand how cute the bow on the back of these suede heels is! I'm also obsessed with any pair of earrings by Deepa Gurnani - such great quality stuff and not too heavy, which is perfect for delicate ears like mine!

Look #2:

Glitter Crossbody / Blue Lace Blouse / Black Jeans / Stone Bar Bracelet / Tennis Bracelet / Stud Gemstone Earrings / Matte Lip Tint / Glitter Flats

Lace and glitter may just be one of my favorite combos ever! This boxy, glittery crossbody bag is under $200 and the perfect size for a party, and the funnest shape that I guarantee you don't already have a bag in! I chose simple jewelry to go with this look, including a simple (but makes such a gorgeous statement!) tennis bracelet and these glitter flats that also come in gold - too pretty!

Look #3:

OPI Nail Polish / Gold Bar Earrings / Gold/Black Stone Stacking Rings / Tory Burch Clutch / Embellished Ankle Strap Heels / Sequin Dress

One of my favorite dressier looks for New Years Eve - you can never go wrong with a sequin dress! It looks great with simple gold/black accessories but I think the pop of pink in this polish is great with the simple tones! It's called "Flashbulb Fuschia". You guys know how much I love my Everly rings and this set goes perfectly with this look, and so does a simple pair of bar earrings that shimmer without being too bold with an already busy dress.

Look #4:

Flutter Sleeve Top / Blush Tulle Skirt / Black/Gold Ball Drop Earrings / Rose Gold Glitter Clutch / Black Suede Block Heels

This tulle skirt is 40% off, making it under $50! It also comes in black and it's such a versatile, different piece to add to your wardrobe. There's SO many ways to style it and it's one of those clothing items you'll get lots of use out of for a ton of different events/times of year. I love the way it looks paired with a simple black top tucked-in and bold, statement making accessories. I mean how gorgeous is this glitter clutch?! It's rose gold AND $38. #WIN

Look #5:

Striped Glitter Top / Cobalt Blue Heels / Blue Gemstone Headband / Kate Spade Leather Watch / Urban Decay Lipstick / Druzy Ring Set / Black Jeans

This look is definitely the most colorful here, and I can't help but love it!! All of the colors in this striped top aren't ones I'd ever think to put together, but they really do look beautiful in one top! The blue popped the most to me in this top, and I really am loving how it looks with bright, cobalt blue heels (which are SO comfy, by the way!), druzy jewelry and with this gemstone headband. Whether you're having a bad hair day, just want your hair out of your face OR just want to make an extra little statement this is the cutest way to do just that - it comes in other colors too! Go bold or go home, am I right? ;)

Look #6:

Glitter Stud Earrings / Navy UGG Slippers / 'Champagne' Tee / Cozy Gray Cardigan / Gray Joggers / 'Cheers' Glasses / Throw Blanket

As much as I love a fun sequin dress, or shimmering glitter heels, a comfy outfit like this will always do it for me! Ha! If you're staying in or having a low-key night with friends/family, you can still be festive - there's so many festive tees/pullovers like this 'champagne' one. This throw blanket is the softest EVER and if you're entertaining at home, these 'Cheers' glasses are a must - they also come in gold!

Look #7:

Velvet Top / Studded Hoop Earrings / Eye Shadow Palette / Black Beaded Clutch / Glitter Block Heels / OPI Nail Polish / Faux Leather Jeans

This gorgeous crushed velvet top can be worn on or off the shoulder, also comes in black and blush AND IT's $15!! Such a steal and it's one of those tops you can wear again and again, dressed up or down. There's something about this velvet/leather/glitter combo that screams NYE to me! This OPI polish shade is called 'Alpine Snow' and it's a repeat shade for winter, AKA the perfect white!

Look #8:

Sequin Dress / Sapphire Stud Earrings / Too Faced Lipstick / Cream Eye Shadow / Rose Gold Bracelet / Velvet Crossbody / Gold Heels

Velvet and sequins need to be paired together WAY more often! This navy velvet crossbody bag is currently on sale (and selling fast!) for under $200 and it's probably my favorite winter bag this season. These simple yet shimmery gold heels are on sale for $35, such a steal! And one of my new favorite things - this shimmering eye gloss. It's basically a cream eye shadow but it's very light (almost whipped) and SO pigmented. It's half off right now, so try one at this price - it's so shimmery and beautiful in every shade!

Look #9:

Velvet/Sequin Sneakers / Jeans / Twist-Tie Top / Glitter Belt / Gemstone Bracelet / YSL Lip Stain #47

Whether you're going out or staying in, don't really want to get too dressed up but still look cute - this would be my go-to! When I found these adorable slip-on sneakers I fell in LOVE! They're a burgundy velvet with mesh/sequins and they're so shimmery and pretty! They're $45 and although they're basically meant (if you ask me!) for NYE, you can wear these whenever, where ever. ;) This knotted-hem top is extremely comfortable and a great staple - it comes in four colors and it's on sale right now making it $18!! I'd get it in every color - you can layer with it, wear it alone, dress it up - it's the perfect twist on a simple long sleeve tee.

Look #10:

Black Velvet Blazer / Gold Sequin Tee / Black/Gold Clutch / Velvet Hair Bow / Gold Mules / Druzy Drop Earrings / Faux Leather Leggings

I think one of the most versatile, must-have clothing items every 20-something (and beyond) should have in her close is a timeless black blazer. This one is on sale for $59 and it's structured so it's flattering on just about every body type! I love the way it looks with this gold sequin top (that comes in four other colors, too!) and both the top and blazer are long enough to wear with these faux leather leggings - they're SPANX and they fit like a glove! And statement earrings with a simple, matching black and gold clutch ties everything together with a pretty little bow. ;)
And my favorite part, this velvet hair bow is a perfect accessory to add into the mix too and it's only $5!

What are you wearing/doing for New Years Eve?!
XOXO -A
