Currently Craving: April's Bright, Colorful Finds

You know what they say... April showers bring May flowers and lots of vibrant, colorful spring buys! ;) Here's to hoping May does bring lots of flowers because this girl (and I can bet most of you) are sooo ready for the warm weather! It's getting nicer day by day in New York and being able to open all of my windows each morning has been so refreshing (and definitely motivating me enough to clean and declutter a LOT!). I found that almost anything I reached for this month, especially for the past week or two, has been nothing but colorful and bright so I thought it was fitting for this month's Currently Craving to be filled with the funnest finds for spring that involve lots of bright shades! Here's 12 things I've loved this month that you won't regret adding to cart today:

1. Travel Journal: this would make such a great gift or just a fun way to document your travels! It has spots for pictures and details about each trip and with all of the summer travels we all have quickly approaching this is a fun way to remember all the memories!

2. Ocean Driftwood Candle: I fell in love with this candle when I smelled it in the store! It's so beachy, but different than you'd expect in a good way! Take advantage of the 25% off deal going on through today (4/30) with code SUNBURST.

3. Pineapple Table Lamp: get. this. lamp. now. It'll sell out again and fast! I had my eye on it when it came out and waited too long, only for it to sell out - I found it in-store this weekend and put it in my cart so fast! LOL.

4. Blue/White Nike Sneakers: these have quickly become my very favorite sneakers ever. They're insanely comfortable and although they aren't great for running in, they're great for everyday wear and for in-gym training. I love them so much I may buy them in another color even though they're so similar! They're THAT great! This color is on sale right now too. I sized down half a size in these!

5. White Crew Neck Pullover: I shared this cute pullover on Instagram a few days ago; it's $19 and it comes in a few other colors - I love the blue too! It's lightweight and fits a little oversized but it's great to layer with, wear on a cool summer night or even on the beach/off the shoulder. For $19 you can't go wrong!

6. Pink & Rose Gold Flip Flops: everyone needs a pair of quick slip on/off shoes for the summer and who could pass up this pink and rose gold combo?

7. Bobbi Brown Moisture Balm: this is sort of like a dewy, moisturizing highlighter all in one and it's so good! You can use it as your moisturizer before applying your makeup or after your foundation is on for more of a glowing highlight. I especially like that it doesn't feel heavy especially for the hotter summer months. I tried a sample of it in my Sephora Play Box and from what I used I really liked it.

8. Colorblock Kate Spade Shoulder Bag: this bag has sold out pretty much everywhere but I found it for just a little bit cheaper and in stock here! ;) It's so different, the cutest size and I know I'll be using it allll spring.

9. Colorful Printed Area Rug: I found this on sale during the Wayfair Sale the other day and most sizes are still on sale, but the three smaller sizes are still VERY affordable and I think with a rug this busy the smaller sizes will be perfect! But the colors are really pretty and will make a fun statement in just about any room!

10. Copper Table Fan: does anyone else get really hot when doing hair and makeup?? I find myself opening my bathroom windows no matter what the weather is when I'm getting ready in the morning hah! I just got this fan for my bathroom and not only is it rose gold, it's the best $13 I've spent in a long time. :)

11. Opal & Turquoise Drop Earrings: I'm waiting for these beauties to arrive and praying that they aren't too heavy! It's hard to see in the collage, but the stones around the turquoise stone are pink and they're beautiful! Fingers crossed on these!

12. Neutrogena Skin Clearing Foundation: this is hands down the best drugstore foundation I have ever tried! Now I've only used it in spots, not on my whole face, when I have a blemish or redness but it works SO well. It lasts all day, goes on very smoothly and a little bit goes a LONG way. It has salicylic acid in it, goes on VERY smoothly, is great for sensitive skin and although I've only used this when I've needed to cover the occasional blemish it's worth every penny (and it's only $9!). If you're on the hunt for a new drugstore foundation to try, I highly recommend this one.
