How to Grow Your Etsy Shop {Like a Pro}

In August of 2015, I began my Etsy shop as a fun little side job and hobby. It's definitely been that since I started, but more recently, I've been considering expanding it - adding more categories and listings, etc. - and to do so, I realize that I need to increase my Etsy strategy and do more promoting than I've been. It's kind of crazy to add this to my plate, but it's something I enjoy doing. I've tried a few things here and there, but I definitely haven't been consistent and honestly, for not much of any promoting at all, I think my shop is doing okay.
Etsy has grown so much and there are over five million active listings on Etsy right now. That's INSANE! As a small business owner/blogger, I love to go to Etsy to shop for almost everything. And as an Etsy shop owner, I know how important it is to help support each other if and when possible. Etsy is wonderful for unique items, gifts, and especially my favorite - monograms! There's endless amounts of things you can buy on Etsy and honestly, it's one of the best platforms to sell on if you ask me. But with selling comes the challenges of keeping up sales, keeping up with sales and gaining clients that are new and returning too.

Tips to Master the Layering Necklaces Trend

One of my absolute favorite trends right now are layering necklaces. I love the way they look; they can be dressed up or down and are so versatile! There are so many possibilities and I recently saw a look with a big statement necklace and two much more dainty necklaces with it and it looked SO pretty. Layering your necklaces can even mean wearing a few of your favorites together - there's endless possibilities. I also love that you can wear them together, separately or with others, mix and matching can be so fun and with pretty necklaces, why not?! This is kind of like an effortless trend because you can easily throw on three or four of your favorite necklaces and be good to go, maybe that's why I love it so much ; )

Sip of Sass Designs

I'm SO excited to share with you guys that my brand new Etsy shop, Sip of Sass Designs is opened! It's taken me a while to get organized and officially get started, but I'm so excited that it's officially opened!


A few months ago, I was routinely shopping at Target (yep, it's part of my routine.. this is getting out of hand) and I found a couple plain white mugs on clearance and I loved the shape so I bought them! I had looked up sayings I wanted to put on them and when I finally decided on what I wanted, I loved the finished product! I was so excited with how it turned out and saw that custom made mugs are popular on Etsy which was what made me want to get started! It's taken me a lot of time to create these mugs exactly how I want them - if you couldn't already tell, I'm sort of a perfectionist!

I'm currently working on SO many designs and plan on adding some more that I've perfected, but I wanted to get up and running so I added my first four favorites!
