What to Wear for Thanksgiving Weekend

We are QUICKLY approaching Thanksgiving week... I'm really not sure how that happened so quickly, but I just saw my favorite Christmas commercial (the Hershey kisses/bells one!) and screamed from excitement! Whether your Thanksgiving is low key, you get dressed up or celebrate all weekend long - here's some outfit inspiration for Thanksgiving so you can get to shopping for this year's look:

All Dressed Up:

Kate Spade Crossbody / Black Long Sleeved Tee / Velvet Wrap Skirt / Round Studded Earrings / Halo Studded Necklace / Black Suede Block Heels /

This wrap skirt made my jaw drop! It's so beautiful and velvet which is one of the fabrics of the season to say the least. It makes a statement in itself, so it looks great with a simple black tee (this one's great for layering too!) tucked in and simple jewelry and heels.

Knit Sweater / Velvet Heels / Gold Twist Bangle / Gray Leather Crossbody / Black Ruffle Pants

Ruffle pants. HOW much cuter does it get?! These aren't jeans but aren't exactly dress pants - they're sort of a happy medium and the ruffle hits in the perfect spot! I ordered these and can't wait to get them in, and I love the way they look with a simple but cozy chunky sweater. And can we talk about these strappy velvet heels?! They come in a ton of colors and the block heel is too comfortable to pass up. It makes shoes 100x more comfortable!

Comfy AND Cute:

White Twist-front Tee / Chenille Cardigan / Black Leather Satchel / Gold Kate Spade Watch / Leopard Blow Mules / Jeans /

This may be my favorite look, and likely what I'll wear at some point during Thanksgiving weekend! We celebrate a few times - Thursday, of course, and then usually again on Saturday (after the craziness that is Black Friday! ;) with extended family. Chenille is my very favorite and I'm kind of addicted to buying it this season! You do have to be careful when washing chenille though so it doesn't lose it's shape. And this front-twist tee is $22, comes in 6 colors and it's the best layering tee ever!

And my very favorite leopard print mules - no words to explain how beautiful these are! ;) They're 40% off right now with code FRIENDS40 and they'll become your most-worn pair of shoes, no questions asked!

Black Velvet Clutch / Velvet Matte Lip (in "Bend & Snap") / Cognac Sweater / Black Jeans / Burgundy Lace Heels / Pearl Drop Earrings

This color palette screams 'Thanksgiving' to me, anyone else? And we should all have a pair of heels with lace in this burgundy/cranberry color if you ask me, ha! Being comfortable while still looking cute is the best combo!
This black velvet clutch is only $40 and it also comes in a dark wine color, but when I first saw it it reminded me of this YSL shoulder bag that retails for $1,850. It's a pretty perfect dupe!

Teal Wrap Blouse / Pearl Embellished Crossbody / Jeans / Rose Gold Stacking Rings / Black Block Heel Booties

Another beautiful shade for fall and Thanksgiving - teal! This high-neck wrap blouse is $60 and the style is so different from most. Another trend this season, pearl embellishments. LOVE it - just like I LOVE this bag! It's $45 (!!!) and faux leather, but made SO well. Pearl embellishments. Seriously, enough said. ;)

I talk a lot about my love for Everly Jewelry - these stacking rings are the highest of quality and look incredibly real. They always get noticed when I wear them, they shine bright and with the options they have for stackables you'll never run out of different looks! They also make for a perfect gift for almost anyone on your list this holiday season!

Cozy Weekend:

Cozy White Half Zip / Striped Fuzzy Socks / Gray Joggers / Gemstone Stud Earrings / Tassel Throw Blanket / UGG Slippers

Finally, probably my favorite outfit for obvious reasons! ;) LOL. I grabbed this COZY half zip sweatshirt over the weekend and trust me when I tell you, you will likely fall asleep because of how cozy this is!! It'd be equally as cute with jeans for running errands on a cold day, but I'm most excited about wearing it over Thanksgiving weekend and probably to shop Cyber Monday in! And I know we all have UGG slippers or a comparable these days, but I had never seen them in this pretty teal color and I loved the way they looked with this outfit! The best thing about UGG slippers is (besides that they make for an awesome gift) that they can be worn inside or out, or both. #winning

Thanksgiving is getting SO close! Happy shopping! ;)
