12 Spring Beauty Buys You Need to Try

I know I'm a few days late to the Sephora Spring Bonus Sale, but it's still going on (through the end of today!) and is the perfect time to get all of your spring beauty needs! With each new season comes new skincare concerns, lip shades and holy grail favorites to try out and getting 10-15% off makes it a little sweeter and easier on your wallet! Either way, you'll want these goodies for spring - and your skin will thank you. Here's my 12 favorite buys for this spring:

1. Tarte Mermaid Skin Serum: this is a great buy if your skin is feeling or looking extra dry and you need a boost of radiance! It gives such a natural, hydrating glow and after the winter we've had, I know I'm not the only one who needs every bit of moisture!

2. Blush & Bronzer Palette: if you're looking for a cheek palette with lots of pigment, beautiful yet natural shades and one that's easy to use - this is worth EVERY penny. The shades blend well, match every skin tone and a little bit goes a very long way.

3. Brightening Gel Crème: another great buy for dry skin - it's enriched with Vitamin C so it helps brighten your skin back to life and get ready for that spring and summer glow! I've been using this crème and the OLEHENRIKSEN perfecting moisturizer and they go hand-in-hand. They're affordable (especially with the spring beauty sale Sephora has going on!) and the best part of all, they don't leave you feeling sticky or with heavy skin.

4. Tarte Maracuja Oil: hands down my favorite, repeat buy, go-to product every single time! I use this every day with my nighttime skincare routine and unlike some oils, it doesn't leave you with that sticky, oily feel that you'd expect. I always appreciate when a product comes in a smaller, travel size too - great for taking with you on the go or if you're new to it and want to make sure it's for you before fully committing to the price.

5. Lip Scrubbing Brush: another must have for spring after (I know, saying it again...) a longgg winter. I know I can't be the only one whose lips have taken quite a hit with the cold-warm-cold-warm weather that this early spring has brought! I feel like my lips are always chapped and no matter how much Aquaphor I use at night, they still feel dryer than ever. I've been using the Fresh Sugar Lip Polish for over a year now and this brush is exactly what I needed! It's great paired with this scrub - which by the way is worth every penny and will last you so long!

6. Luminous Dewy Skin Mask: anyone else L O V E that dewy skin look?! This mask has been my go-to every Sunday for a few weeks already and my face is much smoother and skin has that natural glow all day under my makeup. Loving this mask - and always prefer a sheet mask for some reason!

7. Origins Soothing Face Mask: if you have any redness on your face, this mask is a great option to combat that. It's great for sensitive skin (didn't bother me one bit like some masks of this consistency do!) and a post-winter must have.

8. Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter: a ROSE GOLD highlighter?!?! YES PLEASE! This officially launched for everyone today and I am getting my hands on this ASAP! I'm craving that summer glow and since we're still a few weeks away from that, these dew drops will do (get it? ;) for now! I love Marc Jacobs' skincare products and I have high expectations for this.

9. PRO Concealer Brush #71: love, love, love this brush! If I could only pick two brushes to ever use again it'd be this one and my favorite $6 kabuki brush. It applies concealer absolutely flawlessly - I got this one c/o Sephora about a year ago and it still amazes me how beautifully it sets your concealer! If you have a blemish especially, this is a must have.

10. Reduce Redness Primer: I just got this in and have used it twice so far - and so far, so good! After this winter the redness on my cheeks has been next-level and since I'm a fan of light coverage face makeup, it hasn't done the job to cover it. I'm not sure if it's just how cold the winter was, the lack of hydration or what but I've been needing a quick fix and since green and red cancel each other out on the color wheel, this was a no-brainer to buy. This is another product that comes in a mini size so you can easily try it out for less $$$ before committing! I've always loved the OG Photo Finish Primer so I figured this would be a winner!

11. Natural Matte Eye Shadow Palette: if you're on the hunt for some subtle spring shadow shades, you will fall in love with this palette. Heaven, Nude Goals and Lace Teddy are DREAMY.

12. La Mer Moisturizing Cool Gel Cream: ok so I have had a love-hate relationship with the La Mer moisturizers for a few months now... It was included in my fall Sephora sale picks in November and I know the price is crazy for a moisturizer when there's SO many good, more affordable versions out there. But every time I get free samples with a Sephora/Nordstrom order I pick this, and I just can't get over the difference I see in the short amount of uses I get out of a sample sized packet. It feels incredible on your skin; it's cooling, lightweight, smells INCREDIBLE and a little bit goes a long way - which I guess is how it can be justified by the price?! LOL. The best deal is actually the most expensive version, but both the 0.5 oz and 1.0 oz versions are essentially the same thing price wise. It's more cost efficient to by the 1 oz. version (clearly I've done a LOT of thinking about this one, hah!).

So long story short, I think it's time to try it. There's no better time to get it than when it'll be 15% off, right?! I'll do a full review on it after using it for a while - but I have very, very high hopes for the cost and the results I've seen just by using the sample packets. We'll see! ;)
