Playing with colors, mix and matching patterns and trying new trends are the best part of outfit styling and there's no better feeling than finding a piece that you know will be timeless in your wardrobe! Summer Ready Legs: Schick 7 Day Shave Challenge

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Schick, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #pmgschick #7dayshavechallenge #ad http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Warm weather means one thing: leg shaving season. I'm positive that I'm not the only one who doesn't worry all that much about the appearance of my legs in the winter - amiright? Yes, I shave them of course, but who cares what your legs look like when you get to wear long pants all season?! I don't know anyone who enjoys shaving, but it has to be done, so it should at least be enjoyable. Using hydro silk blades are the perfect way to start the season, especially to avoid irritation in or after the winter.

I'm so excited to be partnering with Schick to take the 7 day shaving challenge to get my legs silky smooth and ready for shorts season! My legs get super dry throughout the long, harsh winters of New York and they always need some serious TLC come spring time. With Schick and the 7 day shaving challenge, my legs will be on a whole new level and SO ready to get tan and summer-happy! ; )

Backyard Patio Refresh with Big Lots

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #BigLotsOutdoor #CollectiveBias

MLB is back which means spring is in full gear! My favorite living space starting now and basically through the end of October is my backyard and the patio space in the backyard. There's nothing better than sitting at the pool by day and relaxing on the patio with a fire by night! I'm a firm believer that one of the best things you can do is be outside as much as possible, so making my outdoor living space as cozy, relaxing and stylish as possible is just as important to me as it is to creatively and beautifully decorate any room inside of my home. There are so many ways to update an outdoor space and honestly, it's the funnest area to makeover! The options are endless and there's so many different routes you can take - beachy, modern, rustic - the list never ends.

Big Lots has been a life saver when it comes to outdoor decorating; not only do they have really great, stylish outdoor decor and furniture, but everything is so affordable and of great quality too! Mixing and matching pieces often works the best in an outdoor space; this is when I take full advantage of fun pattern and color mixing! The seasonal/outdoor décor and furniture sections of the store are so extensive too - there are endless aisles and displays of gorgeous, high-quality pieces that are perfect for any type of yard refresh you're going for.

Bingo Inspired Home Decor

Interior designers, furniture makers and the like seek inspiration for their works from various outlets and verticals which then guide them to either create something out of nothing or re-purpose objects that look as good as new. And when it’s time for us to decorate our home, many of us begin brainstorming contemporary design concepts to fit our modern lifestyle, but there’s something quite homey about vintage accessories that is often missing from an obscure metal sculpture or any other futuristic items you might come across. Other than affordability, Houzz explains, “Vintage decorations are stylish and timeless and this is also one of the reasons why people are opting more for these kinds of interiors for their home.”

Award season may be ending, but spring, warm weather and major sales are here!! The Bloomingdale's Friends and Family has started and there are SO many great things you need to snag from this sale! Although some of my favorites like Tory Burch and Kate Spade are excluded, I've still found a couple of really great things to get ready for the warmer months.
Especially with Mothers Day coming up, graduation season (hint hint to any family reading this! ;) and such, this is the perfect time to stock up on presents too! And lets be honest, even though some of the best brands aren't included in this sale, the element of surprise and happiness always sinks in when you realize something you're looking at is included in the sale!

Here are some of my favorite things from the Friends and Family sale:

10 Beauty Products You Need Under $10

photo 10 beauty products under 10_zpsyg61xzbd.jpg

My favorite thing to buy every time I go shopping are new makeup products. I have a huge bag filled with things I still have yet to try! There's always the question of how much you should spend on makeup products and I definitely believe that 9 times out of 10, the more expensive products have better quality. But there are still a ton of products that don't break the bank and are way better quality than you would expect; especially when it comes to drugstore shopping.

Places like Nordstrom and Sephora are my favorite places to shop for makeup, but the occasional CVS shopping trip never hurts, am I right?! ; ) Some of my favorite products I've ever tried have come from a drugstore and have been $10 or less. I always go by quality over price, but these under-$10 products definitely have the quality factor I look for:
