Holiday Gift Guide: Gifts for the Wanderluster

As I sit here drinking my peppermint hot chocolate, playing Christmas music and wearing my Santa slippers.... (ha! kidding a little bit ;) I'm so excited because it's officially Holiday Gift Guide season!! One of my favorite series' of the year, and this year there'll be a new guide every single Tuesday up until Christmas. There'll be a variety of different guides to help you shop for everyone on your list, at a variety of price points. I'm kicking off the 2017 season with one of my favorite topics - travel gifts! I know most of us love to travel, and if you have a wanderluster in your life (and/or even want to treat your travel loving self this season) these 14 gift ideas are the perfect place to start:

1. 'Adventure Awaits' Passport Holder: every traveler needs a cute passport case! This one is perfect for the girl who loves taking adventures, and it's great to keep your passport safe and not have to worry about it getting wet/bent/ruined in your bag.

2. MiniMergency Kit: this is essential if you're traveling - it has a ton of mini essentials that you'd likely forget in it. Things like earring backs, a safety pin, floss, stain remover, etc. It's just an added bonus that this one comes in a gold, glittery case! It really is mini, and fits in any bag while taking up minimal room.

3. Path of Life Earrings: these pretty gold earrings symbolize taking a new path in life, and represents endless possibilities. They're delicate and make a great gift, but also have a beautiful meaning behind them and your friend/sister/family member will think of you and the meaning they have while they travel around the globe!

4. Memory Foam Travel Pillow: by FAR one of the most important essentials to travel with! It seems pretty common, but I got one in Home Goods before I went to Europe last summer and it was a total game changer on the plane. Airplane seats are not the comfiest, but giving your neck and back support makes such a difference and especially so on a longer flight. This one is made with memory foam (!!!) and it comes in 3 colors.

5. Hard-case Marbleized Hat Box: I'll admit this may be a little "extra", but what do you do if you're going on a tropical vacation and want to bring floppy hat(s)?! You can find ways to fit them into your suitcase, but they bend and lose shape so easily so you might as well go for the extra bag and keep your hats safe. ;) It'd be a great gift for the wanderluster, and you could even add to it by putting some cute floppy hats in it!

6. Cork Board Wall Map: there's a ton of ways to display this, but it's perfect to help display all of your travels in pictures. It's self-adhesive so it's easy to remove from the wall, or even display it in a frame and hang the frame with the map inside of it!

7. Travel Jewelry Organizer: how many of us have a long travel day - lots of bag shuffling and moving around - only to get to your destination and find your necklaces in a knot and your earrings tangled up? Pretty much all of us at one point or another! This jewelry organizer has a ton of small pockets to keep more delicate pieces and to separate chains so nothing tangles up. It's also fabric material, so it can fold/bend easily, making it easy to pack and doesn't take up much room in your baggage.

8. 'Outta Here' Luggage Tag: instead of marking your bags with simple paper tags or colored ribbon, get a cute luggage tag like this one (only $10!) and mark your luggage in style! ;) It's a perfect stocking stuffer gift also.

9. Clinique Travel Skin Set: this skincare set has all of the essentials - my love for Clinique is no secret, and it's also no secret what traveling can do to your skin! It's stressful, planes dry your face out, the list goes on and on. This set has travel sized skincare products in it - the liquid facial soap, clarifying lotion and 'Dramatically Different' daily moisturizer gel (love the gel version!).

10. External Battery Pack: I rarely leave home without my Mophie battery anymore, and I'm sure I've talked about this before but - last summer in Europe, my Mophie was a TOTAL life saver. When you're abroad, the international cell service providers have the tendency to drain your battery MUCH faster than it would at home. My provider told me this was normal, but when I tell you my phone was dying 2-3 times a day... it was crazy! I also was taking thousands of pictures, posting them, FaceTiming, etc - but that's what we all do when we travel, so it's so important to have an external battery (or three) on hand when you're abroad. I swear by the Mophie brand!

11. Carry-On Luggage: this carry-on is beautiful color-wise, but it also charges your electronics!!! SUCH a must have for travel - how many times are you sitting in the airport terminal, waiting oh-so-(not) patiently for an outlet to open up? Or rushing through security to get to the gate in time to grab a seat next to an outlet? #guilty - and this suitcase is the perfect carry-on size and has spots to charge your devices. Pure genius.

12./13. Bits & Baubles Bag and Perfect Pair Bag: these cute storage bags are great to store jewelry and shoes in when you travel! The shoe ones have to be my favorite - I always try and store my shoes separately when I travel so they don't get ruined, and these would make for a great gift set idea for the traveler(s) in your life!

14. Marbleized Packing Cube Set: these packing cubes make fitting things into your luggage 100x easier. Seriously, they are SO helpful! They help to plan outfits, store things easily, fit more (wink wink girlfriends! ;) and make packing not as stressful. It's also much easier to find things once you reach your destination without having to rip your entire suitcase apart.

What are you getting the wanderlusters in your life this holiday season?!
XOXO -A
