Luxury Skincare on a Budget: Paula's Choice Skincare

Thank you to Paula's Choice and PRIMP for sponsoring today's post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support me!

This weather is seriously starting to take a toll on my skin - here in New York, it's been freezing and snowy for a week but before that it was warm, sunny and totally spring-like for weeks! Now it's mid-March (I'm sorry, HOW is that possible?!) and we just got over 25" of snow - there's another 1-3" coming on Saturday night, and my skin is screaming for some sunshine, warm weather and craving the outdoors! I'm super serious when it comes to putting together a great skincare routine and it often changes, which is why I talk *so* much about different products I love. When the season/weather changes I always try new things to accommodate my skin, and my go-to to do so is always Paula's Choice. They have the best, high quality products that are totally affordable; they're non-irritating, 100% fragrance free, never tested on animals and offer coupons - this spring your skin will suffer no more! ;) Here are some of my favorite Paula's Choice products for spring:

Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturizer:

If you need a new moisturizer, look no further! This is the best dry skin moisturizer I've ever tried. It even beats out some of the more expensive products and brands I've tried from stores like Sephora and Nordstrom, and that says a lot! I use this every single night right before I get in bed - it provides instant hydration to your skin and by the morning your skin is visibly softer. It's great for sensitive skin, and it helps with the redness of my skin that happens in these freezing temperatures! It has antioxidants and plant oils to help restore your skin's radiance and moisture, and it's super light weight and doesn't leave your face looking or feeling greasy or heavy.

Resist Smoothing Primer Serum SPF 30:

This primer is perfect for 1. spring break trips 2. every day use and 3. before applying makeup. It helps soften and smooth your skin and it has SPF 30, so it's great to use before heading out into the sun! This will definitely be in my spring break bag - it's lightweight and targets enlarged pores and wrinkles too. The best part about this primer is that you can put it on under any sort of BB/CC cream or foundation and it makes for a great makeup primer! Your face is so important to take care of (especially in the sun!) and it's a great tool to prevent sun damage to your skin. It's great for all skin types too!

Spring and Warmer Weather Musts for your Skin

Radiance Renewal Mask:

I've talked about this renewal mask before and nothing has changed, I still love it! It's basically an overnight face mask that helps replenish your skin as you sleep. It's genius - and it works so incredibly well. Whenever my skin is feeling super dry (like on these brisk, windy 19 degree days) I put this on overnight and it makes my skin feel so refreshed and so silky soft. It has every awesome property of a face mask; the only difference is you sleep with it on! ;) I always bring and use this on vacations too because it has a multi-brightening complex in it and it's great for post-sun skin.

Hydralight Shine-Free Daily Mineral Complex:

I know I've mentioned before that I've always (knock on wood!) been lucky when it comes to healthy, clear skin - but I also have told you guys that I often get oily spots in my T-zone. It drives me crazy and I always carry around this blotting compact to battle it, but this mineral complex is great for preventing shine throughout the day and it's also great to prevent that shiny look your face gets after being in the sun for too long! I also have been using this daily as a part of my skincare routine to prevent any signs of aging. I may only be 22, but I take skin care so seriously and I'll do anything now to prevent problems in the future! It's very calming too so it's become a holy grail product for SURE.

It's been selling out on the Paula's Choice website REALLY fast lately, and they keep re-stocking it! So make sure you get your hands on it before it sells out again, it's one of my absolute favorites from this brand!

Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream: in case you didn't notice the hydrating pattern in these products... ;) here's another one! It has plant oils and natural emollients in it, which is the fancy way to say it's freakin' awesome for your skin and helps give you a soft and smooth face! I apply this around my eye area and on my cheeks on alternating nights after washing my face and I can't even begin to describe how silky and luxurious it feels upon applying it. I have it on right now, and I can already feel to the touch how much softer my face feels - not even 15 minutes after applying it. It's the perfect carry-on size too, to all of my fellow spring break getaway-ers!

Gorgeous on the Go Makeup Collection:

Not only is this palette small and super compact - perfect for carrying around for touch ups and for travel - it has *everything* you need in it! Paula's Choice is an awesome skin care brand, but they also make some seriously great makeup too. This palette has three shades of eye shadow, a powder eye liner (so pigmented!), a complexion-boosting blush in the prettiest pink shade and a shimmery highlight powder. The set also comes with a really pretty lip gloss shade, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite makeup products! I mostly use the blush and highlight - they look beautiful together and I love that the highlight shade is light and shimmery and gives your face the perfect touch.

Since spring is quickly approaching and all of these products are serious must-tries, Paula's Choice gave me a coupon code to share - simply use code PRIMP10 at the checkout page to receive $10 off of a $40 purchase! There's so many things you can try and buy to get a great spring skincare routine down to a science. Get on it - your face will thank you! :)

XOXO

  42. For a woman, her skin is extremely important as the attraction factor also comes in to play as men are mostly attracted to women that have skin that is extremely soft to touch and feels silky. In order to achieve such type of skin, you must pay good care to your skin and try not to ignore its needs. Very informative post.
