The 9 Best Apps for Black Friday Shopping

Phones and tablets are good for so much more than Snapchatting and Instagramming... while that's all fun, it's also super beneficial (especially during this time of year) to download apps that help make shopping trips easier! Prime example: Black Friday!! Like I mentioned yesterday, there's a ton of things you can do to prepare for Black Friday and downloading some shopping apps is HUGE.

Whether you need to organize your shopping lists or find great deals, there are a ton of apps that you can get to make shopping even easier. I do the majority of my holiday shopping organizing through these apps and it's made such a difference! This year I've also noticed a ton of apps that help you to compare prices which is great for things like TV's and electronics. So sit back, relax and get ready to enjoy your shopping trip(s) this Black Friday. With these apps, even if you're running on an hour of sleep and a Venti Peppermint Mocha Latte, Black Friday shopping will feel like a breeze.

The 9 Best Apps for Black Friday Shopping:

Black Friday: this is a great app for finding sales and viewing flyers for different stores. There's also a news section that pulls stories from the web about each stores unique Black Friday hours, sales and the best deals they're having this year. You can also search by store category and if you sign in, you can create your own wishlists which is really fun. This is the first year I've used this app and I really love it!

WishMindr: another app I'm using for the first time and am loving! You can create a ton of wishlists and even mark an item "purchased" when you buy something on the list. It's had some bugs, but overall I like it. You can add gifts from any site which is pretty awesome too.

Black Friday Shopping: more store deals and weekly ads all in one place. I've used this app for a few years now and you can search ads by location (zip code or state) to see the ads for the stores you'll actually be visiting. This is one of my personal favorites and why I go back to it yearly. You can also make wishlists with this app, but I haven't used this feature.

TGI Black Friday 2015: I may secretly love this app so much because of the name of it! The main categorization on this app is by deals instead of ads. For example, they list a ton of electronics that they've found at the best prices. The top of the app also has a Black Friday count down which is the best part! You can search by store and category and even add items to the "My List" section and unlike a wishlist, this is more saving the deal so that when you're in the store, you can easily access it if need be.

ShopSavvy: this is another app I've been using for a few years. Along with searching for sales and products, you can scan the barcodes of items with this app. If you scan an item, the app then brings up every place that said item is sold and the deals - basically price comparing. This is super helpful and even helped me find a TV I was buying last year for about $50 less. There's a lot of barcode scanning apps and ShopSavvy is my favorite - it's also great for every other time of year!

Shopular: possibly my all time favorite shopping app! I use this not only for Black Friday but year round too. I love the layout of this app; it semi resembles the Pinterest layout. You can choose stores as your "favorites" and these are the store deals you'll see first. When clicking into a deal you're interested in, the app shows you any exclusions and the coupon code(s) if one is needed. There's a new feature that shows previews of all the products that are on sale too which is super helpful in seeing if its something you'd be interested in. The app has a separate Black Friday section where it shows all the deals from your "Favorites" list that will go on on Friday. Nearly every store I could think of is included - from Best Buy to Old Navy to Michael's, they're all included. I highly recommend this app!

ShopKick: Shopkick is one of the best earn-to-shop apps I've come across. The point is to accumulate "kicks" and upon earning enough, you receive an award that you choose from the list. It's a pretty decent list too - you can get things from Starbucks and Target gift cards all the way to an iPad. Of course, the bigger the reward the more kicks you need. You can receive "kicks" by walking into stores, scanning items and for purchases. This is great to use all year and I highly recommend it because from using it yearly, I've accumulated some awesome rewards that I can now use on Black Friday. Using the app for all the purchases you make on Black Friday will also help to earn rewards for more holiday shopping later on. Highly recommend using this app!

Flipp: this is another weekly ad/Black Friday ad app but one of the better ones I've used for sure. You can use your location and make yourself a shopping list and create "clippings" in the app which allow you to save coupons. It's very helpful having your coupons at hand so you no longer have to dig through your bag looking for flyers (I'm a prime example of this, sadly).

RetailMeNot: this is a pretty popular app and another one that is great for all year round too. You can choose your favorite stores (similar to Shopular) and redeem coupons right from the app. This app often finds the most amount of deals at any given time which is probably why its been so popular.

Download these apps and you are all set for Black Friday! The key to Black Friday is being organized and having apps to help you get there is the best way to go.
Are you excited for Black Friday? What's your favorite app to use?
