I feel like whenever I try a new beauty product I love, I hit a jackpot - so when Influenster sent me the new Estée Edit VoxBox this month and I began using the products inside, I was like a little kid in a candy store! I figured they'd be great because I love Estée Lauder, and didn't expect anything less here. If you aren't already on Influenster, I highly recommend signing up! This VoxBox came with four awesome Estée Edit products in it; the brightening eye balm, treat prep and glow serum, cream eye shadow and a two-shaded eye pencil. For as long as I've been wearing makeup, I have always loved the idea of face masks. My mom used to buy my friends and I these fun masks from Claire's and we would have the BEST time with them at sleepovers! I never thought about how beneficial masks are back then, but now I do and I live for face masks. I love trying all different ones - sheet masks, tea, charcoal, eye masks and my new favorite - clay masks! Different masks have different benefits for your face (duh) but they're seriously SO relaxing too. I can't think of anything better to do than have a girls night in or a night of pampering to yourself and treat yourself to a face mask.
Picking the mask that's right for you is the first step and with so many different ones on the market, it's safe to say it'll take plenty of tries before finding your favorite. Every time I try a new one I tend to like it more and more! But no matter which mask you pick, you can bet that you'll feel relaxed and have glowing skin that feels super fresh post-mask. Hydropeptide's On-the-Go Glow Anti-Wrinkle Travel set is the newest addition to my skincare routine each day and I can't get enough of it! I was so excited to try these out after reading a little about Hydropeptide. I know I don't have to worry about aging yet, but I do love preventative products like these that I think will make a difference in the long run. Hydropeptide creates their products with your skin in mind; they combine hydration techniques with the power of peptides and it's become a new, go-to combination for anti-aging. Whenever I try new skin products I'm always worried about how they'll make my face feel, how my skin will react and most importantly, how my skin will look after using them. I'm happy to say that these products are all winners!
Complaining about not having enough hours in the day is something that the majority of us do, but sometimes that's because of what time the morning starts. Most especially if the weather isn't great or if I just had a busy/long day before, struggling to wake up is something I know all too well! Ever since I started sleeping with a Tempur-Pedic tempur-breeze pillow, my quality of sleep has shot up. I definitely attribute more productive mornings to this pillow! And although it can be hard, being most productive in the early morning really does make for a better day.
In the summer, I can hardly be bothered with putting a face full of makeup on unless I'm going somewhere special; a nice dinner, wedding, etc. But at the same time, I hate leaving the house with no makeup on so my go-to summer makeup is almost all eye products, bronzer, a little concealer if I need it and fun lip colors. Plus, trying new products and comparing drugstore to higher end brands is my favorite thing to do! This heat in New York right now (the high is 101 tomorrow) doesn't help the case but I was so excited to try the line of L'Oreal Voluminous products - they really are as great as they're made out to be!
It's officially summer and June is almost over - and the June Pop Sugar Must Haves Box is SO on point and perfect for this month, I'm so freakin' excited about it! As I opened my box when I first got it I kept gasping in excitement because all of the fun goodies they included are so perfect for summer; they're so different and definitely things you wouldn't think of getting, but everything you need!

These boxes are subscription based boxes that are filled with fun fashion, fitness, beauty and food products that you'll be obsessed with! This is my first Pop Sugar box and out of all of the subscription boxes I've tried, this has been my favorite by far. The items each month change and they're all full sized products - none of that mini sample craziness that you pay to try! The boxes each have a theme which is so fun and this month's theme was all about summer fun and outdoor fun. I love this theme for summer, of course - but like I said; they're products I needed that I really never even knew I needed! You'll see what I mean:
Does anyone else love buying and trying new perfumes especially in the spring?! The newest VoxBox I received is absolutely perfect for this time of year - I've never heard of Viktor & Rolf but I'm so glad I've had the chance to now because this perfume is amazing. Adding a beautiful new scent to my collection is always exciting and especially when the packaging is this pretty!
Finding makeup that you really love can be hard - especially face makeup. I have never been able to find a concealer/foundation that I loved or that matched my skin perfectly and I have tried SO many especially lately. There's a ton of drug store branded foundations that work well (especially the Maybelline matte mousse!) but nothing has given me the coverage I was looking for or the natural look I like to have even when wearing makeup.
Last month, I heard that NARS was releasing a brand new skin tint/foundation and I didn't really think twice of it until it sold out in my mall's Sephora twice in two weeks! Every time I walked into the store, people were going crazy over it; I read a bunch of reviews and they were all so positive and I was dying to try it. I went back into Sephora a few days later and asked about it and I got a sample to try before buying it because lets be honest, $44 for a face tint isn't cheap!
This is possibly one of my favorite VoxBox's I've ever received! I'm obsessed with trying new shades of lipsticks, glosses and stains so this was a really exciting mail day. I had never heard of Amuse Bouche by BITE before this VoxBox and now I'm absolutely in love and will be for a long time too. There are 34 amazing shades and I wish I received them all, but three of the prettiest will do! ; )
For a long time, I've been completely obsessed with the idea of subscription boxes but never have looked into loving one enough to trying them. I knew this would change as more and more started to become available - especially since there's so many now - but this happened sooner than expected when I received my very first Rocksbox Box last week!
First of all, if you're feeling skeptical toward subscription boxes like I was, let me be the first to tell you that they are SO worth it!! I don't know about you, but an exciting mail day is such a good day! ; ) Jewelry is by far my favorite accessory so a subscription box like Rocksbox with designer jewelry in it is like a dream come true!
It seems crazy even to me that I would need hair extensions since I have fairly long hair, but I'm so glad that I was able to try these Irresistible Me extensions! I was skeptical at first and had never heard of this brand but now that I've tried them, I love them and they're such great quality too.
Once I realized that extensions can be used for more than adding length, I immediately said "count me in". I always am trying to have more voluminous hair and it seems like the only time that happens is when 1.) I get my hair cut/done at the salon or 2.) I spend 3-4 hours on it and am going somewhere fancy or special. I've tried tons of products and since I have fairly long hair that is also pretty full and heavy, it always seems too flat for my liking. Let me tell you - these extensions are perfect for adding volume! Especially if you tease them, I've found them to be so amazing for making me look like I put a lot of effort into my hair on any given day.

CoverGirl has always been one of my absolute favorite drugstore-brand makeup brands and I got to be one of the first to try two of their newest products. Trying new makeup is always fun and I happened to need a new mascara to try - and I think I found a new favorite!
No matter what hair type you have, you've likely noticed how popular curling wands have become over the years. I love using a curling wand much more than using a curling iron - the curls come out better, more natural and it's much easier and quicker as well. For a long time, all I wanted to do was straighten my hair. My hair is naturally curly but they aren't the same curls you can achieve with a wand, which I do like because it gives me the option of having many different curled looks. Although as I've gotten older, I curl my hair way more than using my straightener mostly because I love when my hair looks full and how curls look good on all types of hair!
Curling your hair or achieving a certain look is often difficult especially if you aren't a seasoned hair curler. (is that even a word?) I'm 21 and it still takes me a few tries when I try a new style! But I will say, curling your own hair with a wand not only gives you more natural looking curls but also is so much quicker.
This past July, I was introduced to Influenster and joining was one of the best things I've ever done - really!!
